Event Checklist

The following guidelines are designed to help you promote and organize a successful outing for BankAtlantic Center events. Although it may look like a major undertaking, it is very simple to coordinate.

The information contained in this how-to guide is meant to provide direction. Please feel free to adapt and customize these suggestions to fit your situation and organizational structure.

* Get the word out - Once you receive information about a group discounted event, distribute the information as soon as possible in your weekly correspondence with your group or organization. "Plant the seed" with basic details such as date, time, event or opponent, and ticket price information. Get people thinking and talking about the event.

* Poster - Upon request, you will be provided with posters (four-color posters available for select events). They are designed so you may write in specifics for your event with a marker. Hang the posters in areas where members of your group or organization will see them on a regular basis.

* Taking Orders For Your Tickets - Instruct your members to contact you with the number of tickets and ticket price they wish to purchase along with payment. Checks should be made out to your company/organization. Keep a record of who purchases tickets, number of tickets, etc.

* Purchasing A Block Of Tickets - After tallying your ticket numbers, call (954) 835-SHOW or email the Group Sales Department to purchase the tickets. Ticket purchases must be made no later than 7 days prior to the event. Make one payment for your entire group by VISA, MasterCard,  American Express, cash, or check made payable to "Arena Operating Company. All payments made in person at the BankAtlantic Center need to be scheduled by appointment in advance.

* Ticket Distribution - Ticket Distribution is the final step. Distribute the tickets to those who purchased them and then get ready to enjoy a great outing. Seating charts are available here.
