Andre Rieu & The Johann Strauss Orchestra

André Rieu, together with his 55-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra, will return to North America for a 21-city run that starts in June. Rieu will appear in concert in Sunrise at the BankAtlantic Center on Thursday, December 9th at 8:00pm
The 2010 tour will be very special. Says Rieu: "Next year will be the "Celebration of Music Tour". I always say that music is the most wonderful thing in the world. Music triggers emotions. I want to bring an ode to waltzes and polkas that bring joy, to romantic ballads and to many more beautiful melodies. It will be a very special night".
André Rieu is one of the best selling live acts in the world. Billboard Magazine, the leading music industry publication, has published an overview of the 25 best selling tours of 2009.
Rieu, who has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, travels with his own orchestra, the Johann Strauss Orchestra, and an entourage of over 100 people in total. His concerts are known for their festive atmosphere. He encourages his audiences to get out of their seats and waltz in the aisles.
